Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jordan!

You’ve certainly come to the right place to start planning your epic family adventure. When I read your question, I immediately thought that the most convenient option for your family will be to stay on-site at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. These hotels are closest to the parks so you won’t need to rent a car if you don’t plan on leaving the Disneyland Resort area. Everything is within walking distance from each other which makes park hopping incredibly easy.

Further, various room sizes are available depending on your needs. You could book two standard rooms, or stay together in one of the multi-room suites. Each room comes equipped with a mini-fridge and coffee maker. The mini-fridge is perfect for snacks, beverages, small meal items, and it will even hold a half gallon of milk for the little one. If you need access to a microwave, they are located in the common areas of each hotel.

Staying this close to the magic means it’s really easy to head back and forth if the child needs a nap or if the whole family is ready for some pool time. Additionally, when you stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you will have access to my favorite perk: Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay. This allows you to enter Disneyland Park one hour early on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and Disney California Adventure Park one hour early on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Extra Magic Hour at Disney California Adventure Park is exclusive to Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests so you can really get a lot done on those mornings.

I’d love to help you continue to plan, so please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have!
