David from OH Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello, I am looking into possibly planning a trip to Disney World and just wanted to see if you are offering any special offers for nurses. Thank you.

    Hi David!

Welcome to planDisney! Yay for possibly planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Celebrating medical professionals is one of the many ways Disney Parks recognizes the amazing work of nurses. Nurses truly are our Super Heroes and we are eternally grateful for the work that nurses do daily. Although the Walt Disney World Resort does not currently have any special rates for nurses, there are other Special Offers that might be helpful. Keep in mind that these special offers change periodically throughout the year, so keep checking to see if a new offer might better fit your travel plans.

The Walt Disney World Swan and Walt Disney World Dolphin hotels have offered discounts for nurses in the past but when I called to check on that rate, the representative with whom I spoke said it was not available for the dates of your visit. Those resort hotels are nicely located in the BoardWalk area and are within walking distance to EPCOT as well as Disney's Hollywood Studios. Special rates do come and go, so I suggest that you check with them again soon.

In the meantime I believe the Walt Disney World Resort Magic is Here offer may be good for the dates of your visit, so check the exact dates and do some comparison pricing. You can check pricing online with and without the special offer. I also suggest that you check pricing for the resort hotel room and theme park tickets separately.
Once you book that resort hotel and theme park tickets, link them in your My Disney Experience Account. Once your theme park tickets are linked, you can make Disney Park Pass reservations for each day that you will have valid theme park admission.

As you consider your resort hotel selection, I will say that my family prefers resorts that have access to the resort monorail and/or are within walking distance to one or more theme parks. Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney BoardWalk Villas are a few of our favorites. Being able to walk to a theme park actually saves us so much time!

David, be sure to check the operational updates as well as other updates with dining and resort hotels as it gets closer to the dates of your visit. Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the gang are all excited to welcome you to a world of magic! Grab your super-suit and get ready!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
