Hi, I am looking to possibly go back to Disney world in April 2026. Can I borrow my DVC points from my 2027 use year to make this booking now? Or can these only be borrowed next year? Thanks

    Hi Kayleigh,

Welcome home! And welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for stopping by with your question today. I love getting the opportunity to chat with fellow Disney Vacation Club Members and help them make the most of their membership. My family has been enjoying the flexibility of our membership for several years now, and the only thing we regret is not joining earlier! Now, let's get straight to your question.

Kayleigh, unfortunately, I cannot see the details of your account, and it would help to understand your Use Year to give you the most accurate answer. A key thing to remember is that when you make the booking does not matter; it is the date of the reservation you are booking that matters when borrowing.

If you log in to your Disney Vacation Club account and visit your Member Dashboard, you can view your available points for each Use Year. I find this especially helpful, as I manage two contracts with different Use Years, which makes keeping track of my points much easier!

I am sorry I have not been able to answer your question today, Kayleigh, but please, feel free to ask another question, with your Use Year included, and I will be able to give much more information.

    See ya real soon!
