We are looking at a possible vacation in late October. We would like to make some restaurant reservations, but it looks like they may not be available. If we make a Disney hotel reservation, do we get better access to reservations?

    Hiya William!

I am so excited to jump into your question thread! I’ve been reading some of my fellow panelists’ fantastic responses, and I hope I can be as helpful!

So, Resorts are my jam! I can create a whole vacation entirely out of a Resort hotel stay, and there are incredible perks that come along with being a Guest. These include complimentary Disney’s Magical Express transportation to and from the airport, Extra Magic Hours, and EARly booking for FastPass+ selections. But, staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel does not give you preference for advanced dining reservations. Reservations are open to anyone 180 days before your desired date. I know you said late October, but if you wanted, today, you could make a reservation for Sunday, October 4th (thanks super smartphone!). Overall, it looks like just a few weeks before you can reserve all of the Character Dining and entertainment that you desire.

Now, there IS one way that you can take advantage of being a Resort Hotel Guest in regards to reservations. If you book a Club Level Stay at one of our Resorts, you get the help of the fantastic Disney Signature Services. They are like the Fairy Godmothers of the Resort, and will help create a magical vacation, including make dining reservations, schedule tours, and make FastPass+ selections for you!

William, if you have any other questions, you know where to find us!
