Hi! Looking into a possible cruise change from our planned February voyage. What are the DCL transportation/luggage options from nearby Miami hotels, please? We could rideshare, but I trust Disney's transport and would like to use them if possible.

    Hello Amy,

Welcome back to planDisney. I'm so glad you are here!

I'll be sailing from Miami soon and I have been researching the options for transportation from the Miami International Airport to nearby hotels as well. I love the ease of scheduling ground transportation through Disney Cruise Line and I'd love to share what I have found.

The Disney Cruise Line website shows that there are three Miami-area hotels that you can choose to book as a pre- or post-cruise stay and they are listed here. The current options are the Four Seasons Miami, EB Hotel Miami and the Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami. If you choose to book a hotel stay through Disney Cruise Line, ground transfers are available to book between the airport, hotel and cruise port, for an additional fee. You may book this service by calling 800-951-3532.

If you choose to add transportation and hotel stays to your cruise reservation, the current direction is to pick up your own luggage from the baggage claim at the Miami International Airport and then proceed outside of the baggage claim area where a Disney Cruise Line Representative will direct you to your transportation. The designated transportation may be a motor coach, minibus, or taxi depending on the size of your party and the time that you arrive. Additional ground transportation details can be found here

Amy, If you do decide to book these services through Disney, I would recommend that you do so soon, as February is just around the corner! Your vacation will be here before you know it and I hope that it is truly wonderful.

    Bon Voyage!
