Hi, Ashley! Thanks for hopping on over to planDisney with your question!
Buttons and bows, it looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is starting in only a couple of days! You have just enough time to look over your plans and get all of those final details ironed out. I'm so glad you've already thought about your
Disney Park Pass reservations. As you can see, they've been going really fast!
Unfortunately, Disney doesn't have a way to add another person to an existing theme park reservation, so the only thing you could do is to make a separate Disney Park Pass reservation for them. If there are no reservations available in the park you'll be visiting that day, the best alternative I can think of is to add the Park Hopper Option to that person's ticket and make a reservation for them in a park that does have availability. Remember, you only need to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park you'll be visiting on a particular day, so using the Park Hopper Option opens up more possibilities for later on. You just have to visit the park where you made your reservation first, then you can head over to a second park to meet up when park hopping opens at around 2 p.m. You can learn more about how park hopping works at this time on the
Park Hopper Option page on the Walt Disney World website.
I'd definitely keep a close eye on that
Availability Calendar just in case other Guests have a change in plans that opens up a spot for your extra person, but park hopping at least gives you some time in a park all together.
I know it may not be ideal, but I do hope this gives you an idea that helps your plans work out in the end. Have a magical visit to Walt Disney World, and please come back and see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
