Port Orleans Resort French Quarter Pool

    I was looking at the Port Orleans French Quarter website and it no longer has the orange text that said the pool was under refurbishment and is replaced with one about the rooms. Is it safe to assume the work on the pool is finished now? Going in 17 days!

     Welcome back to planDisney, Megan. We're so happy to see you again and super excited to hear that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about to begin! Yay!

     You're going to love being a Guest of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. My husband and I enjoyed a visit there a few years ago (sans kids!) and we just adored the cobblestone streets, wrought-iron balconies, gaslit lamps, manicured gardens, and the smooth sounds of jazz floating in the air. We felt like we were transported right into the heart of New Orleans!

     I have excellent news for you. Doubloon Lagoon pool has indeed re-opened, just in time for your upcoming visit! With festive decorations, King Neptune, and Mardi Grogs pool bar, it's Mardi Gras everyday at Doubloon Lagoon pool!

     Be sure to stop by Scat Cat's Club - Café for freshly-baked, Mickey-shaped beignets. I promise you, they're heavenly! Each order of 6 beignets comes with the choice of one dipping sauce. I recommend the strawberry sauce. Yum!
