Looking at POR for an upcoming trip for a family of 5. I keep seeing that the pull out bed accommodates kids under 9 or 5 ft tall. My youngest is 12 and just over 5ft, will she fit on the pull out? If not, what do you recommend?

    Hi Lisa,

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is a great option for families of five. The bed is a pull-down wall unit which serves as a bench when the bed is folded up into the wall. If you click the link which I provided, scroll down to "Rooms", then "Standard View" (or any room type which lists that they can accommodate 5 guests). Then click on the "View Photos" link. The second photo from the end will show what the bed looks like when it is opened up. When folded down, the bed measures 35" wide by 65" long. While there is no weight limit posted for the bed, it is recommended for guests aged 9 and under. That being said, when I stayed in one of these rooms, I laid down on the bed to test it out. I'm 5' 2", so I'm just a bit taller than your daughter, and I would sleep there if I needed to. Most people tend to curl up a bit when they sleep, so I'm sure that she will be perfectly fine on that bed.

    Wishing you magical memories,
