Hiya Dylan - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
I'm thrilled to hEAR that you're planning an adventure during next year's
holiday season! This is such a fun time to visit the
Resorts and
Theme Parks - get ready to make some magical memories!
Currently (and I don't expect it to change), all
Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservations are, by default, separate. Even if you personally wanted to book two rooms, you would be booking two separate reservations. So, answering your question from a technical perspective is easy - all reservations will technically be separate. In any of the scenarios below, you'll link everyone in your party via the Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience in order to plan together.
I'm not sure how far you've gone down the planning road, but did you know that there are actually some options that could fit your
ENTIRE crew?! Be sure to check out the 3-Bedroom Grand Villas, located at most
Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts. They can sleep up to 12 adults, have amazing amenities, and plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. They all have full kitchens, living rooms, dining areas, multiple bathrooms, washer and dryer, and some even have an additional media room.
While these Villas are going be significantly more expensive than the combined cost of three Value Resort Guest Rooms, if your crew was already thinking of staying at a Deluxe Resort, this actually might be a fantastic option. Be sure to also check out the other Villas, as well as
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, and the Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation and
All-Star Music Resorts. Combinations of two of these rooms could also be a great fit for your crew!
You can
explore and book online, or call 407-939-1936 and speak to a helpful Reservations Cast Member. I also know that planning for a larger group can sometimes benefit from the service of a travel professional with extensive Walt Disney World Resort experience. If you do end up booking multiple separate rooms online, I recommend that you call and request that your reservations be linked. This request will let the Cast Members at your Resort know that you would like your rooms located next to or nearby each other, and they will do everything they can to honor that request, or get close to it!
I hope this information is helpful as you start your planning process. You have plenty of time, and your friends at
planDisney are always here to help!
