Hello. I am looking into planning a trip with some friends and their kids. However, one of our party is afraid of characters with heads, such as Mickey and Minnie. Are there any character dinings without those types of characters?

    Hi Christine,

It is so kind that you are thinking of the comfort level of all of the members of your traveling party as you plan for your Walt Disney World vacation!  Do not worry, there are character dining options that should work for you. Let me offer you some suggestions.

I think that you will be best to look at character dining with princesses. There are many options for this, including Cinderella's Royal Table, at which you can dine in Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World! You could also look at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, which is another royal opportunity to dine with the princesses and is located in the Norway pavilion at Epcot.

If you would like to meet some princes as well, there are some specific special meals you could try. At the Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you are a guest of Cinderella and Prince Charming. If you prefer to start your day with a character meal, there is a new offering at Trattoria al Forno at Disney's BoardWalk. This is the Bon Voyage Breakfast, and it features characters such as Ariel and Prince Eric, and Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder.

Please do note that all character appearances are subject to change.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Christine! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
