We’re looking into planning a family reunion with 20 adults and 15 kids for March of 2023. Do you have a team that helps groups plan trips to Disney World?

    Hi David,

Welcome to planDisney! Wow, a family reunion at the Walt Disney World Resort, that sounds like a dream come true! Not only will you be able to do so many fun things with your family, but I’m sure you’ll be making memories that will last a lifetime!

David, there isn’t a specific group that will plan your entire vacation, but you can reach out to the Group Reservations desk. They should be able to help you book your hotel rooms because they work with groups that need 10 or more Disney Resorts Collection rooms. At this time, United States guests can only book trips through December 31, 2022, but Hakuna Matata that doesn’t mean you can’t start your planning process now. There’s so much to think about!

My first suggestion would be to gather everyone’s thoughts on where the family would like to stay. Are you looking for more of a Value Resort experience at a hotel like Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort or a Deluxe Villa Resort experience at The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa? You could also think about places that have event space like Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. This way if you want to book a conference room for a dinner or family gathering, you have that opportunity.

Finally, I’d suggest everyone get to know the Theme Parks and how many days they’d like to be in them. If your vacation is five days, do you want to go into the Theme Parks all five days or would you rather have three days in the Parks, one day at Disney Springs, and one day hanging out at the Resort? You’ll also want to keep in mind that there are different Ticket options to explore as well. Of course, everyone can choose the ticket options that work the best for their immediate family, but I know everyone will want to gather at least a few times together within the Theme Parks!

As you start planning your family reunion, I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is super helpful for your great, big, beautiful vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort. While you’re going through the process, if you have other vacation or planning questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help with making memories!
