Hi there, Rosamaria!
A holly jolly welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question. I cannot wait for you to have a merry and magical time at the Disneyland Resort this
festive holiday season! There is truly nothing more warm and cozy than walking down a beautifully decorated and lit up Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park during the holidays (preferably holding a hot chocolate from Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe!).
I just love getting to see Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort on Christmas morning at home when they air the Disney Christmas Day Parade special on television. As many Guests at Disneyland Resort have witnessed, this parade is actually taped over a few days typically in late November or early December. While this isn't publicized, there may be notifications in the park on the mornings they plan on filming. I'm sorry that I do not have the exact date information for you at this time.
While you are here for the holidays, there are still so many amazing limited-time offerings and experiences around both parks and Disneyland Resort Hotels even if you don't happen to catch the official parade filming. I love the transformed attractions like "it's a small world" Holiday and Haunted Mansion Holiday in Disneyland Park and Luigi's Joy to the Whirl and Mater's Jingle Jamboree in Disney California Adventure Park. Keep an eye out on the
Disney Parks Blog for upcoming holiday foodie guides showcasing the decadent delights to eat during your visit.
I hope this helps, and I wish you a sleighful of fun on your vacation!
