Welcome to planDisney, Stephanie! Thanks for stopping by with your question.
Caribbean Beach Resort is a great option for your group. Not only does it feature amazing amenities (have you seen the
Fuentes del Morro Pool?), but I’m a big fan of the food. Sebastian’s Bistro gets a lot of attention for its Caribbean-inspired flavors, and rightly so, but don’t sleep on the
Centertown Market. You really can’t go wrong with the Arroz Mamposteao or the Mixed Grill Platter.
OK, food detour over! You’ve got a vacation to plan!
You’re correct that Caribbean Beach Resort has connecting rooms, and you can make that request when you make your reservation. The resort does its best to accommodate requests, but there is no guarantee connecting rooms will be available during your stay. I’ve heard from other guests that Cast Members try to prioritize larger families with children, but it’s always subject to availability.
I’d suggest booking the same type of rooms to increase your chances of getting adjoining—or at least nearby—rooms. There are a lot of
different room types across Caribbean Beach Resort’s many buildings, and I’d hate for you to accidentally reserve rooms not available in the same building. You can also call the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line to talk to a friendly Cast Member about your request and to ensure you’ve picked the best type of room.
Stephanie, I hope this helps with your vacation planning. I just know you and your crew are in for the most magical time! Come right back to planDisney if any other questions arise!
Happy planning!
Matt
