Looking to plan a trip in November to experience the Disney Holiday Magic, planning for early Nov hoping crowds won't be too high. Is that too early to take a day to resort hop to see resort decorations? Which resorts will decorate and should not be missed

    Hi Kristi!

November (before Thanksgiving crowds) and early December are my family's absolute favorite times to be at the Walt Disney World Resort.  The crowds are fairly low, the weather is usually mild, and the Christmas decorations are so amazing.  Nothing gets me in the holiday spirit like Disney!

Generally, the resorts and parks begin heavily decorating during the end of the second week of November. If you can wait until the end of the second week/beginning of the third week, you will get more bang for your buck. The parks (especially Magic Kingdom) will have their decorations up earlier, but the resorts are usually just a bit behind.  You will see a bit of decor in really early November, but not as much as you would probably like.

Each resort is very beautiful in their own way.  The tree at Wilderness Lodge is gorgeous, and the gingerbread house/exhibit at the Grand Floridian is a "must-see"!  Monorail hopping to the Contemporary, Grand Floridian and Polynesian Village is a great way to view those resorts, as is heading over to the Disney Boardwalk area to visit Beach and Yacht Club and the Boardwalk Inn.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
