We are looking to plan a trip next October with our 3 children. My husband is going to take our oldest to see a few other sights one or two days of our trip. I am looking for something fun or educational to do with our other two who will be 1 and 4?

    Greetings Monique,

I am a homeschooling Mom and I am constantly looking for fun and educational activities to participate in with my daughter when we are on vacation so I have a few ideas for you.

    • Spend a day at Animal Kingdom exploring the many species of animals in their native habitats. Throughout the park, you will find numerous opportunities to stop and take part in conversations with Animal Specialists and there are tons of unique, educational experiences around every corner.  Be sure to visit Rafikis Planet Watch and Conservation Station for lots of fun learning!

    • Visit Innoventions at Epcot to experience an afternoon of hands on learning.  My daughter's favorite activities here are "The Great Piggy Bank Adventure" which teaches about the importance of saving money and "Where's the Fire" which teaches fire safety and prevention.

    • Stroll around the World at Epcot and learn about different countries and cultures. Visit each pavilion to take an in depth look at the cultures and history of that country.  You may even want to sample some of their food.  You can even purchase a passport that your kids can have stamped at each country.  Look for the KidCot Stops along the way!
    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
