Hi Martin,
Welcome to plan Disney! I am sending a little pixie dust for patience now as you plan a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort for a large group!
First, you need to decide which
Disney Resorts Collection hotel would be best for your group. When selecting a resort hotel, my family considers the dining and transportation options. We love resort hotels with several different dining locations. Also consider how many rooms you will need. You could do standard rooms that sleep up to four adults or you could try the family suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort or the
Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Both the suites and cabins sleep up to six adults.
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows also has bungalows that sleep up to eight adults.
Once you decide on the resort hotel and type of room, I suggest you do some comparison pricing of
vacation packages. Click on that vacation package link, then click on Book your Walt Disney World Vacation Package today. enter the number of adults and children for each room, select the number of theme park ticket days, and then compare prices. Keep in mind that there are
Special Offers released periodically throughout the year. So, always check to see if there are any that are applicable to the dates of your visit. You will also need to decide on the types of
theme park tickets. If budget is a concern, the 1 Park Per Day tickets worked well for us before we became Annual Passholders.
Once you are ready to book, you can book those vacation packages online or
over the phone with a Cast Member. If you create a
My Disney Experience account, you can then
link your vacation package in My Disney Experience. I love to have our vacation packages linked so that we can make payments online!
Martin, planning for a large group can be exhausting but it is also a lot of fun! As you get closer to the time of your trip, I do suggest making
advanced dining reservations. Review the
dining reservation booking window information and then get ready to make those reservations!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
