I am looking to plan a trip for my family of 6, flying 23 June and flying out 2 July. I will be using the Salute to military tickets, but want to know reservations to the park are available during that time frame before I purchase tickets. Is this possibl

    Hey there, William!

I hope you're having an extra magical day, and welcome to planDisney! As a military spouse, it's my pleasure to assist you. On behalf of all my pals here at planDisney, I'd like to thank you so much for your service.

I love that Walt Disney World Resort honors U.S. military personnel and their families with special offers. I've had the pleasure of experiencing these benefits myself. My top pick is the Military Salute Tickets. With the new Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket, you can now enjoy the theme parks as many times as you wish between January 1 and December 18, 2026, all at a fantastic value. If you're concerned about date availability, rest assured: the Walt Disney World website features a theme park availability calendar you can check before purchasing. Once you have your tickets, remember to make your theme park reservation.

While you’re on the site, log in to your My Disney Experience account and check out any special offers available for Disney Resort hotel stays. The perks of being an on-site Guest make your magical trip even more special. For example, Early Theme Park Entry lets you enter the parks 30 minutes before they open to the public, perfect for enjoying popular attractions with shorter wait times. I also love the complimentary transportation; with today's gas prices, it's a treat to be chauffeured by a friendly Cast Member!

Walt Disney World also offers special pricing on Disney Resort hotels for U.S. military personnel and their families. To take advantage of these offers, you'll need to call Disney directly to inquire about rates and availability.

Bonus tip: If you purchase your tickets from your local base, you'll need to activate them with your valid military ID at the ticket counters outside each theme park, or at the Disney Ticket Center in Disney Springs. While you're there, be sure to ask about the special Memory Maker price exclusively for U.S. military members. If purchased directly from Shades of Green, they will already be activated.

William, I hope this information has been helpful. It's truly been a privilege assisting you today. Please come back anytime, and remember, you've got a friend in me!

    Your personal planning companion,
    Michelle
