Hi Nicole!
I've been taking my children from very early ages. While they may not remember everything at two years of age, I certainly believe they can have fun at Walt Disney World! In fact, my opinion is it's the best family vacation because it's so easy to have fun with little ones, and the older children alike.
I would suggest you go ahead and plan that vacation. Your older children will thank you more than enough to make up for anything that your two year doesn't remember, and
you will always have the memories to share from your magical trip.
A few suggestions to make your trip easier:
- Keep water and snacks on hand and stick to regular meal schedules.
- Stick to regular nap schedules, too.
- Sometimes a baby care center is just what Mom needs. It's a much more comfortable place to change diapers or clothing, and there are bathrooms that make it easy to take even your 5 year old. It's more of a calm regrouping area compared to the restrooms.
- If your little one is shy of characters, try a character dining experience so s/he has time to feel comfortable around the characters without pressure.
- Make your older kids day by using Rider Swap strategically, and they'll be able to ride attractions twice without waiting long in line the second time around!

I can almost promise that your two year old will have plenty of smiles to show you just how much fun s/he is having!
