I am looking to plan a trip to Disney for our family. We have 3 children aged 11 (boy) , 9 (girl) and 7 (girl). We are looking to visit M.Kingdom, Epcot, HollyWood S and T.Lagoon in early Aug and I am a little confused as to how to even start to plan ??

    Hello Mark,

May I begin by wishing you a very warm welcome to planDisney!  As the current UK-based Panelist, it really will be my pleasure to offer you and your lovely family some pixie-dusted guidance today in planning for your intended August holiday at Walt Disney World Resort.

With the words of Mary Poppins singing in my head, "In every job that must be done.  There is an element of fun!"  And for me, researching and booking my own jolly holidays to Walt Disney World Resort begins with the fun of browsing the official Walt Disney Travel Company website.

I think the next thing is to create a My Disney Experience account, and also download the My Disney Experience Mobile App onto your smart device.  My Disney Experience is truly invaluable for managing all your Disney plans in one, easy-to-access, zip-a-dee-doo-dah spot!

With so much to see and do in Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, I like to take a quick peek at the Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts webpage in the hope that I'll find a good value-for-money deal that suits the needs of my family.

There are so many reasons to stay in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and for me, the top of those reasons is that I love staying within the "Disney bubble" so to speak.  Another magical perk is that Disney Resort Guests are able to book their Advanced Dining Reservations and make other reservations for offerings within the Enchanting Extras Collection 60 days prior to check-in.  PLUS, for a further 10 days into their stay!

Mark, I'm also happy to share that Guests like you and I from the UK are able to choose to purchase from either 7 or 14-day Magic Ticket options.  Magic Tickets provide unlimited entrance (when combined with Disney Park Pass reservations) into all 4 Disney Theme Parks (including Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, plus the Disney Water Parks too.

Once purchased, Magic Tickets should be linked to your My Disney Experience account after which you'll be able to go ahead and make Disney Park Pass reservations for your desired Disney days.  It's easy to check ahead to view current Disney Park Pass availability via this handy link.

And lastly, if you so wish, Cast Members are always on hand to help book your Disney holiday!  To connect with a knowledgable Cast Member, simply go ahead and dial the UK freephone number contained within this Walt Disney Travel Company - Contact Us webpage.

Mark, I sincerely hope I've been able to provide some useful information and fun pointers to enable you to plan for your upcoming summer holiday.  You'll always be as welcome as can be to return to me here at planDisney if you should think of any additional questions!

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
