Ahoy Jerry!
Welcome to planDisney-so happy to have you onboard. Based on your dates, I SEA you are considering a
Bahamian 3-night cruise on the Disney Dream. Great choice! What a fun sailing it will be with a large group of family and friends onboard.
If you want to book directly with a Travel Agent, you certainly can. We here at planDisney are not travel agents, but we are super fans of Disney travel and specifically in my case, taking Disney cruises. So we can offer lots of tips and tricks we’ve learned over the years, but alas, we cannot make your reservations. But you CAN contact a
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist to make reservations. Having a large party means multiple staterooms, so it is advantageous to let someone assist you with the booking.
Two vital components of your Disney sailing will be your
stateroom categories and your
rotational dining. As a large group, you may want to coordinate the stateroom locations and select connecting staterooms. The Disney Dream has over 500 connecting staterooms, which means you can leave the door open between rooms to feel more connected with your party. Using the
Deck Plans and choosing the Disney Dream in the upper left-hand corner, you can see which staterooms are connected. Another genius idea for making larger spaces for hanging out is having Oceanview staterooms with Verandahs and asking the stateroom host to remove the partition to create one large balcony. There’s nothing quite like looking at the gorgeous sunset views while having a toast and appetizers together.
Finally, dining together is a key component to group travel. Arrangements can be made for all of you to be seated in close proximity in the rotational dining rooms. Your dining team will deliver superb service AND learn all your likes as they rotate with your group to each of the restaurants every night.
Hopefully these tips will help steer you in the right direction for your reservations. Sail back to planDisney anytime and I’d be happy to help you with more advice. Wishing you all the most DREAMy experience at sea together!
Happy Sailing!
