Hey there, hi there, ho there, Sherry! You’re as welcome as can be to
planDisney!
If you’re looking for some planning help, you’ve come to the right place! I’m happy to report that the
Disneyland Resort strives to meet the needs of all Guests, including
those with disabilities. To start, I recommend checking out this page about
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities. You’ll find information about attraction access,
wheelchair rentals, disability parking, and more.
It sounds like your child may benefit from
Disability Access Service (DAS). DAS is a program offered to Guests who have a hard time waiting in a conventional queue due to a disability.
DAS Advance is a new program that offers Guests the chance
to pre-register online with a live video chat as early as 30 days before your visit, and no less than two days before. If for any reason you aren’t able to register for DAS before your visit, you can also register at the Disneyland Resort upon arrival at City Hall (in Disneyland Park), Chamber of Commerce (in Disney California Adventure Park), or any Guest Information location.
In addition,
here’s another helpful page offering plenty of resources and information to help you prepare for your visit. If you have any additional questions before your trip, you can also
call Disability Services, or send an email to
disability.services@disneyland.com.
I hope this information helps you and your family enjoy a comfortable, stress-free visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, Sherry! Please stop by with any additional questions… we’re all EARs!
Happy planning,
Kristin
