Hi Kathy!
Welcome to planDisney.
I am with you!!! I am so old school I'm almost vintage!!
There's something very satisfying about holding a physical paper copy in your hand, rather than scrolling down your phone, and while both methods have their merits I would always go for paper copies. My Disney daily schedule is always printed out, multiple times, and placed in every bag, backpack, and pocket I might use on my trips! That way, I know I always have my plans with me, just in case my phone battery gives up. Saying that, I wouldn't be without the My Disney Experience mobile app which is invaluable to use while on the go, checking waiting times for rides, and booking dining and other fun experiences.
At this time, there are no paper brochures available for mailing out to guests, nor can we order a Planning DVD or park maps. However, park maps can be printed out at home directly from the Walt Disney World website - available here for
Magic Kingdom Park,
EPCOT,
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Disney's Animal Kingdom.
When I am visiting the parks I like to make a little collection of the guide maps to take home with me as reference when planning my next trip. If you are visiting Disney Springs, stop by the Welcome Center where you can pick up a paper copy of every guide map, including one for Disney Springs, the four theme parks, and both water parks - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach.
