    We are looking for a photographer for an engagement at Disneyland how do we do that?

    Welcome to planDisney! I don't know if this is your engagement or someone else's but I want to send a hearty "Congratulations!" to the happy couple! I'm so glad that two people found a person worth melting for and are now moving forward knowing that "love is a song that never ends."

    Disney PhotoPass Photographers are the best bet for something easy and with minimal planning. Disney PhotoPass Photographers are skilled Cast Members with digital cameras located throughout the Parks. You can use the Disneyland Resort Mobile App to help find one nearby. Just find one at a location where you two would love to take a picture and smile! Don't forget to ask for a Magic Shot if you want a special surprise! Did you know that if you add the Disney Genie+ service to your ticket you will get unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads from your trip along with access to book Lightning Lane return times? That's a great deal when you consider how much a private photographer can cost. You can also purchase Disney PhotoPass+ One Week if you are just interested in photos over a full week. 

    My dear panelist friend Danielle C. has some great photo locations in her answer to another guest that I highly recommend you check out! She is full of romantic magic as she and her Prince Charming did their engagement shoot in Disneyland Resort!

    One suggestion she made which I recommend as well to you is reaching out to Disney Weddings. This is if you are looking for something very special and personalized. They can work with you to create many magical moments for the engagement. They may be able to assist with photographers and more special extras. 

    Finally, if you choose to hire a private photographer know that photography for unapproved commercial purposes is not allowed. There may be issues if Disneyland Resort requires permits or other permissions. I would call and speak to Guest Information for some clarification on your specific date and situation.
