Looking at the park hours calendar for May 2019, I don't see late night magic hours at Magic Kingdom like we are used to (11-2 a.m.). Is this something Disney is discontinuing or just not noted that far in advance?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stephanie! We're elated to help you plan your upcoming Disney vacation.

Visiting the parks during Extra Magic Hours as Disney resort guests is always at the top of my planning list when scheduling Disney days. Being able to enjoy the parks with fewer guests just seems more magical.

During the week of your Disney vacation, Extra Magic Hours at the Magic Kingdom will happen on Wednesday, May 8 from 9pm until 11pm. It is possible that park hours can change, but I would plan according to the schedule that is currently posted.

Late night Extra Magic Hours typically occur during the summer months, beginning in June. However, this doesn't mean that additional and extended hours won't be offered during your Disney vacation. So, keep checking the Walt Disney World website often to see if the current schedule has been updated with later park hours and additional Extra Magic Hours.

Enjoy your time at Walt Disney World, Stephanie. The other Moms, Dad, and I are more than willing to help you with your planning questions.

    Wishing you magic and memories,
    Korliss
