    Hey there, Paul!

Thanks for stopping in to see us at planDisney! Vacationing at The Most Magical Place on Earth is even more magical when the whole family stays in the magic together. You'll be creating so many cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

As you make your plans for your magical Summer of 2022, know that each of us at planDisney is happy to share our tips and ideas with you. We're Guests just like you, and we've enjoyed so many wonderful Disney destination vacations with our families.

I'm going to offer up a few suggestions that I hope can help your planning. If you're looking for more personalized travel package planning from someone who will handle all the details for you, you might want to consider working with a dedicated travel planner. You can do a search for "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner" to find travel professionals who have earned a special Disney distinction for their expertise in Disney destination vacations.

One great resource for checking out vacation packages is to look at the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts. You can keep an eye on these offerings for discounts that line up with your travel dates, and you can check to see if offers can be applied to any reservations you might make.

I always recommend the Disney Resorts Collection where you can "stay in the magic." You'll want to decide if you'll prefer separate Resort hotel room reservations for each of the families or if you want to look into a couple of Deluxe Villas. With a Deluxe Villa approach, you can get a layout with multiple separate bedrooms, a spacious family room living area, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, and all the comforts and conveniences of a vacation home.

One detail to keep in mind is that for theme park ticket pricing, "adults" are age 10+ and children are ages 3-9. Children under age 3 do not require theme park tickets. Check out the Tickets & Visit Guide for a helpful overview of ticket types. I always recommend adding a Park Hopper Option to your tickets so that you can visit more than one theme park in a day.

You can use the "Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today" planning tools to put together your vacation package that includes your Resort accommodations and your theme park tickets. You can also call the Walt Disney Travel Company at (407) 939-7675 to speak with a Cast Member to get assistance with your bookings.

You'll want everyone to be connected through the Family & Friends feature of your My Disney Experience account. You also want to make extensive use of the My Disney Experience mobile app to make, share, and manage all your big family plans.

One important planning note is that you'll want to make theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system.

Paul, I hope these suggestions help get you started with planning your big family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. You'll likely have more questions as you get going in your planning. Be sure to ask us here at planDisney. We're here for you and happy to help!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
