Hi there, Julie!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for bringing us your wonderful
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm thrilled to see that you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a short couple of days! As you count down those final moments before your enchanting escape, let's chat about your
transportation options from Orlando International Airport.
Julie, while the Walt Disney World Resort does not operate an official shuttle service between Orlando International Airport and the
Disney Resort hotels at this time, I'm happy to inform you that some great third-party options are still available. One of my family's favorite third-party services is Mears Connect, a shuttle bus option that offers both a standard and an express experience. While the standard option may make a couple of stops at other Disney Resort hotels before arriving at yours, the express service whisks you non-stop to your Disney destination! I encourage you to book your transfer in advance to ensure a seamless experience once you arrive at the airport.
If you want to maximize your flexibility and freedom during your stay at The Most Magical Place on Earth, consider a car rental, Julie. We use this option when we choose to stay at any Disney Resort hotel that isn't situated on the
Resort Monorail or Disney Skyliner so that we can quickly zip between theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, and the Disney Resort hotels that we
make dining reservations at!
Finally, one option I rely on quite frequently when I travel alone or with a group of adults is a rideshare service. I've had success with Lyft and Uber in the past, and while this option typically costs a little more than Mears Connect, it does provide a quick and private transfer directly to your Disney Resort hotel.
Julie, as a Guest of the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, you'll enjoy many of the same benefits as Disney Resort hotel Guests, like
early theme park entry and extended evening theme park hours! One of the greatest benefits of staying near
Disney's BoardWalk is the ability to enter EPCOT from the International Gateway. This will enable you to access the World Showcase before all of the Guests entering at the main theme park entrance, getting you to popular attractions faster - or to
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France pavilion, if you're anything like me and prefer "rope-dropping" snacks!
I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish you a most magical stay at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Julie. If you have any additional vacation planning questions, you're always welcome to revisit us here at
planDisney! We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
