Looking to do a one room villa. We are not DVC members. We've done Disney 10+ times, never done a villa. Family consists of my father, myself (18), and my two sisters (15, 11). Favorite resorts include Cornado Springs and POR. Suggestions?

    Hi Mariah,

You will love staying in the Disney Vacation Club one bedroom villas!  They are so spacious, and the full kitchen and washer and dryer is just fantastic to have on vacation.  You will be so spoiled and may just have to become a member yourself!  :)   I have several suggestions for you.  The villas at Animal Kingdom Lodge are so amazing.  I would recommend a savanna view.  You will actually see giraffe, zebra, Ankole Cattle, and more animals grazing outside your window,  My family just loves the theming and the beauty of this resort.  The villas at Wilderness Lodge are in a wonderful location.  You are adjacent to Ft. Wilderness Campground and will truly feel like you are in the woods and at Yellowstone National Park!  You will be able to go horseback riding or have archery lessons as well.  The last suggestion is Old Key West.  This will feel the most similar to Port Orleans- Riverside.  It has a laid back atmosphere and has been recently renovated so the rooms are awesome!  The pool area is so much fun, and my kids love playing in the sand. You will not be disappointed staying in a DVC villa, Mariah!  Thank you for the question and let me know if I can help you again.
