Hey Howdy Hey Robert and welcome to planDisney!
I love the quick pop-in trips to get your Disney fix! Not enough to break the bank and just enough to satisfy that Disney need. I think you are doing things right as well by visiting Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Both are really great parks you can spend a whole day in and still not see everything they have to offer. The good about your trip is if you do end up staying one night in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you are right in the Magic, super close to the Theme parks and you will be able to utilize Disney transportation to and from the parks. The bad part is due to the shorter trip, Disney usually does not have a whole lot of frequent offers for stays that short. Let's talk about a few ways you can approach this to get the most out of your trip though.
First off is location. Sounds like you will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel which is great, I would recommend looking into the
Value Resort Hotels. These resorts still have some great theming, great amenities and super affordable prices to go along with them. These work out great for just needing a place to sleep at night after a long day in the parks. I would recommend looking into either
Disney's Pop Century Resort or
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.
The other benefit when it comes to staying onsite at a Disney Resort hotel is
Early Theme Park Entry for Guests staying at one of these hotels. Guests are able to enter the parks 30 minutes prior to the park opening for access to the parks with significantly reduced crowds. Considering you are in for a short while, this will help to maximize your time in the parks and get the most out of your day.
I would still keep an eye out for any
Special Offers that Disney does come out with. Stays this sort usually do not get much as far as discounts, but it never hurts to keep an eye out for those occasions. Also, make sure you stay up to date on the
Park Hours and Early Entry for Resort hotel Guests. The park hours do change from time to time without notice as well as the Early Entry benefit at times may get extended up to 60 minutes prior to the park opening compared to the 30 which also may impact your day in the park.
I hope this information is helpful and if you need any further assistance or have any questions feel free to let us know, we love talking about all things Disney!
Happy planning,
Nick
