I'm a huge fan of the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass - not only for its main perk of being able to book return windows to use the Lightning Lane on select attractions, but also because it also enables unlimited digital downloads of all
Disney PhotoPass photos taken during your trip. It's so nice knowing I can just prioritize stopping by as many Disney PhotoPass Photographers as possible during a trip and I'll walk away with a photo album's worth of high quality pictures.
Typically, the Lightning Lane Multi Pass can be added on at one of two times - at the point of
purchase of theme park tickets or after the ticket has been scanned to enter a park for the first time. When purchasing through a third-party, there is still often an opportunity to add the Multi Pass, but I can't guarantee it. If you're not seeing it, then I'd recommend reaching out directly to ask if it's an option for the specific tickets you're looking to purchase.
If it's not an option at the point of purchase, then you can add it on after you enter a park for the first time (subject to availability). The way I've handled this in the past is by just keeping the
Disneyland Resort mobile app pulled up in my phone to scan my ticket, then immediately adding it through the Lightning Lane Multi Pass banner on the home screen of the app.
