Looking for the old Sing Alongs channel that was on loop. Are these not on anymore? It’s my kids favorite.

Hi, Darnelle! It's such a pleasure to see you here at planDisney! I'm so glad you sent me your question. Let's sing a happy little working song as we help plan your Walt Disney World vacation!

It sounds like your family has discovered the awesomeness of Disney Resorts Collection TV programming! It may sound strange, but as much as we love hitting the Theme Parks when we visit, there's something about turning on the TV in your room and seeing that blue screen with details about the day's activities around Walt Disney World pop up that really makes it feel like you're on vacation! You can check out Park hours, get an update on the activities happening around your Resort hotel, learn about the adventures you can have as a Disney Vacation Club Member, and lots more - all right on your TV. And there's no better way to drift off to sleep while thinking about all the fun tomorrow will bring.

Darnelle, I think you're talking about the Disney classic cartoons that aired on Resort hotel TV's for several years, which included some singalongs in the rotation. The old classics and the singalongs have gone back in the vault for a while now, but there's a new rotation you might enjoy! The new "Mickey Mouse" cartoon shorts that debuted in 2013, a series of three- to four-minute episodes featuring Mickey and the gang in a bunch of new adventures, air throughout the day. In the evenings, the same channel switches over to video bedtime stories based on some of our favorite Disney movies and shows that will help calm the little ones after a busy day in the Parks.

You can always capture the magic at home if you have Disney+, since you'll find many of the classic cartoons there, along with the "Disney Family Singalong" shows that aired last year on ABC. I also found videos of the "Disney Sing-Along Songs" on YouTube, if you'd like to take a trip down memory lane.

I hope this helps you have a song in your heart, Darnelle. Thanks again for stopping by to chat with me. And if you have any more questions, just give a little whistle!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
