We are looking at going next year from 10/26/2017 till 11/2/2017 when do the change from fall to Christmas decorations at Disney World?

    Hello Theresa –

We are so glad that you stopped by with your excellent question! In my opinion, there is nothing better than celebrating the Holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort (well, perhaps a Disney Cruise Line Holiday is a close tie). I just love seeing the beautiful Christmas Trees in each Resort Hotel, smelling the elaborate and elegantly decorated Gingerbread Houses and of course eating those special Holiday treats!

Since you are looking ahead, you have plenty of time to long-plan your trip. The Fall and Halloween decorations go up in September and stay up through the end of the Halloween. It is usually right after the last Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party that the fall décor comes down and the Christmas decorations magically begin to appear.

The cast members do such a great job of transforming the Parks and Resort Hotels so that by the time of the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, most of the decorations are complete. Based on the dates you provided, it looks like you will get to enjoy both the Fall and Holiday decorations!

Theresa, thanks for visiting with us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel and come back to see us soon.
