I have been looking at the new be our guest restaurant and noticed that it's classed as a quick service place at lunch time, is this true and if it is, is there any difference in the experience going for lunch or booking for dinner

Hello Nicola and thank you for coming to me with such a great question.
As Lumiere might say "Tie your napkin 'round your neck, cherie and we'll provide the rest!" and boy is he right because the 550 seat Be Our Guest Restaurant in the heart of Fantasyland provides Guests with a totally immersive and completely unmissable gastronomic dining experience.
You are quite right Be Our Guest Restaurant is indeed a Quick Service location at lunch; Guests self-order from a varied and yummy selection of sandwiches, soups and salads plus for dessert, cupcakes or cream puffs via touch screen terminals. Lunch is magically brought to your choice of table in any of the 3 amazingly themed dining rooms; the Grand Ball Room, the West Wing or the Rose Garden.
Dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant is different in the way that it's like all other traditional Disney Table Service restaurants; i.e.: upon arrival Cast Members show Guests to their tables where they will be served and waited upon, Guests can choose from a delicious 3 course dinner menu with definite French flair.
Advanced Dining Reservations are highly suggested for Be Our Guest Restaurant and should be made up to 180 days in advance via My Disney Experience or by speaking with a Cast Member on 0800 16 90 748.
I highly recommend dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant and want you to be sure to try the Grey Stuff; it's delicious, don't believe me? Ask the dishes!
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your upcoming holiday to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question!
Have a great Disney day and bon appetit!
