I am looking for a moderate resort that a 3-year old would LOVE (something similar to AOA) for our trip next year. Any suggestions? As always, thank you for answering my question.

    Hi Daina,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question.  We have a passion for helping others with their vacation planning questions and especially love repeat visitors to our site!  I have four kiddos myself and my family has vacationed in every Disney Resort hotel category including the Value Resorts, Moderate Resorts, and Deluxe Resorts.  Therefore I asked my own children what their top Moderate Resort hotel pick would be for a 3 year old.  My children voted for the following two top Resort hotels (drum roll please):
    • Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort hotel:  With its tropical paradise theme and amazing pool with a Spanish citadel fort waterslide, this Resort delivers Caribbean island fun in style for both preschoolers and their parents.  This Resort hotel is quite large so I recommend selecting a preferred room to minimize walking.
    • Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside:  For this Resort hotel my kids all voted for the Royal Guest Rooms.  What child wouldn't love being a royal guest of Princess Tiana?  This Resort not only appeals to children, but is also known for its lush romantic landscaping and is a favorite among honeymooners and adults.

Daina you honestly cannot go wrong with any of the Disney Resort hotels.  You mentioned Disney's Art of Animation Resort hotel in your question and I want to also chime in with my recommendation for that Resort as well.  My entire family really enjoyed this Resort from my preschooler to my teenager.  Although this Resort is in the Value Resort category, it does offer a lot of extra magic and is a great choice for families.

    Have a Disney Day,
