Looking for a moderate disney resort for kids aged 5 and 7.

    Hi Bernadine,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We love helping guests to plan magical vacations! There are so many great options for moderate resorts at Walt Disney World. I think that you would likely be happy at any of them. Let me offer you a couple of my favorites.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is lovely. I enjoy the rural Louisiana theme of this resort. If your little ones are intrigued with princesses, you should look into booking a Royal Guest Room and looking for the clues that the Disney Princesses have visited the room. From this resort, you can catch a boat along the Sassagoula River to Disney Springs. This is a relaxing way to travel. From Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, you can walk to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and explore there as well.

Another Walt Disney World resort that people often overlook when looking for a moderate resort is The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness. My family and I love spending time at this resort. The stand-alone cabins give you all of the comforts of a hotel, such as daily housekeeping, and also have a full kitchen and separate bedroom and living areas. Your children might enjoy the bunk beds in the bedroom! There are so many activities at this resort, ranging from wagon rides to a nightly campfire and sing-a-long with Chip 'n' Dale.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Bernadine. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
