I was looking into going to MNSSHP and I am a little confused about the separate ticket. Do you need a Magic Kingdom ticket as well as the party ticket?

    Hey Curtis-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My most favorite event at Walt Disney World Resort is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. With this separate event ticket you are typically allowed into the Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 p.m. even though the official start time is 7:00 p.m. This spooktastic party lasts until midnight. You will not need a Magic Kingdom Park ticket unless you want to enter the theme park earlier that day. I am heading back to this party in October because we met wonderful characters, trick-or-treated and dressed in our favorite Disney costumes. It was super fun!

Disney Dad Tip: Bring a backpack for candy. During the night you will be able to treat-or-treat along the candy trails. You will be provided with a bag and the Cast Members will put the candy in the small bag. You may then transfer the candy into the backpack. We gathered 10 pounds of candy and only visited half the candy trails! Also, you must see Happy HalloWishes fireworks spectacular and Mickey's "Boo to You" Halloween Parade. They are they best of the year.

Enjoy making many Spooktacularly Magical Memories!
