    Looking at Mickey's Backyard BBQ as one of our character dining experiences. I know I will be charged when reservation is made but upon arrival I can use my Disney Dining and get reimbursed. Does that apply to both category 1 and category 2 seating?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Mickey’s Barckyard BBQ is such a fun way to enjoy an evening with family and friends at the Walt Disney World Resort. Their barbecue buffet is delicious, and Minnie, Mickey and friends join you on the dance floor to make magical memories you will never forget.

    Advance payment is required for this experience, but Guests using a Disney Dining Plan are welcome to use their meal entitlements. I recommend calling (407) 939-3463 to make your reservation so that a Cast Member may assist you booking with your dining plan credits. In case you have already paid for your reservation, you can inform Cast Members upon arrival that you will be using a Disney Dining Plan, and they will gladly reimburse you. Please note, however, that Guests using their Disney Dining Plan for dinner shows must book category 2 or 3 seating, and that 2 entitlements will be redeemed per Guest.
