    We are looking at Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Do you get a chance to meet and have pictures taken with the characters???

    Hi David!

         Mickey's Backyard BBQ is an is an all-you-care-to-eat Disney Character dance party with live country-western band at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. My son and I went to Mickey's Backyard BBQ and we had a blast! The characters do not come directly to the tables at Mickey's Backyard BBQ, but they do come out on the main dance floor and at select locations in between the tables at various times during the evening. When the characters are not on the dance floor, the live band is playing and singing lively Country songs. The characters may sign autographs when they break off into the smaller dance groups, but there is not a traditional character line like you see in the Parks. I did see the characters at Mickey's Backyard BBQ sign some autograph books here and there during the night especially when they were in the small dance groups if a guest asked them to sign their autograph book.

    I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly amazing in every way and I hope that you get a chance to experience Mickey's Backyard BBQ!
