When looking at March 7, 2026 on the park info “closed for refurbishment” list on the My Disney app, it does not list RNRC as being closed. I have heard it’s closing on March 1, so why isn’t it listed? Thanks!

Hi Brenda, and welcome back to planDisney! How exciting that your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few weeks away!

Rock ‘N Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith has been one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort attractions for many years, so I am hoping to hop into a limo and grab one last backstage pass before it closes, too! Unfortunately, I can confirm that the last day to ride is March 1, 2026. The reason you aren’t seeing it on the refurbishment list is likely because it is considered a permanent closure rather than a refurbishment. The ride will undergo a total retheming and open as a new attraction starring the Muppets this summer.

If you are looking for other high-speed thrills, be sure to check out TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. Both are some of the most unbelievable thrill rides I’ve ever experienced and really showcase the magic of Disney Imagineering. If you love Rock N’ Roller Coaster and haven’t tried these two yet, they may quickly become your new favorites! I highly recommend that you consider purchasing Lightning Lanes for these attractions since they are some of the most popular at Walt Disney World Resort.

Brenda, I’m sorry I don’t have better news about Rock N’ Roller Coaster, but I hope you have a magical visit with so much to enjoy at Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any more questions, come back and see us at planDisney. We are always happy to help add a little extra magic to your Disney vacation planning!
