Hello, Jonathan! Thanks so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited to discuss three of my favorite things with you - the Disneyland Resort, food, and football!
ESPN Zone is the go-to place to catch your favorite NFL game on any Sunday, Monday, or Thursday at the Disneyland Resort. The place is practically covered in TVs which broadcast up to 13 live feeds of games. I checked reservation availability for Sundays in October and did find a few times available. It's possible that when you were checking, the schedule wasn't quite populated online yet. Another thing I noticed is that time slots on Sundays revolve around the three main broadcast times of NFL games - 10:00 a.m. for the early games, 1:30 p.m. for the afternoon time slot, and Sunday Night Football. I was searching for a party of two, so if you don't have any luck for your party size online, try calling the restaurant directly at (714) 300-3776.
If your favorite team is playing early, consider making a reservation for the Sunday Morning Football Breakfast. There are hearty breakfast options available to get you ready for your day of cheering on your team. This breakfast is served on Sundays from September 10, 2017, through January 21, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Another way to catch a game while at the Disneyland Resort is to visit one of the lounges in the Disneyland Resort Hotels. I had a lovely dinner recently at
The Lounge at Steakhouse 55 and was delighted to see a TV right by the bar that, at the time, was showing a college football game.
Best of luck to your team this season, unless your team is playing the Denver Broncos - in which case...GO BRONCOS!
