    We are looking at making our first trip to DW in January or early February 2016. If I book an early 2016 room reservation soon, will I have the option of changing dates if I need to before I book anything else? Also wondering about average temps then?

    Hi Julie!

    It's always so much fun to start planning a Walt Disney World vacation.  I personally think that planning is half the fun!

    You can definitely make changes to your reservation after you book it.  Disney understands that plans often change, and I have had to change my reservations many times.  Here is a handy link to Frequently Asked Questions about your hotel reservation at Disney World.  

    The weather in January and February is generally fairly nice.  We are often there in early January for runDisney's Marathon Weekend and the temperatures are USUALLY perfect, but they can also be a bit cold.  Average temperatures are in the mid-60's to mid-70's, but can fluctuate, so definitely check the weather forecast before you leave.  When the sun goes down, you will want to have a jacket to put on, for sure.
