    I was looking to get a Magic band+ for my son, so he can experience the interactive part of it. If I link his magic band to my account, can I still use the app on my phone to scan us all in for lightning lanes and not use his magic band to scan in?

    If you’re planning to be in charge of making the Disney Genie+ selections, you may do so for everyone from your device. When making Lightning Lane selections in the Disneyland Mobile App, you’ll be asked which members of your group will be included in the plans. If no one else in your group has their ticket on their mobile device, you may scan your device for everyone at the Lightning Lane entrances. Alternatively, the members of your traveling party may scan their paper Theme Park Ticket or their MagicBand+. 

    So, while each Guest in your traveling party is welcome to scan in at the Main Entrance and Lightning Lane Entrances, they are not required to do so. You may allow the Cast Member to scan everyone’s tickets from your device.
