We are looking for some low-key activities in between park visits for my 3 yr. old son. I have heard that fishing is available near the Port Orleans resort. Can you please provide me with info.--price, hours, location and any other suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, Nicole!   Catch and Release fishing is available at Port Orleans Riverside at  the Fishin' Hole on Ol' Man Island.   Your little fisherman can catch catfish, bass, and blue gill (then toss them right back into the water!)   Hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.    The cost for one hour of fishing with a Cane Pole and bucket of worms is $4.00, and for a family of up to 6 people, the cost is $12.50 per hour (prices subject to change.)

For more information on this and other recreational activities in Disney, call (407)WDW-PLAY.   For more tips on traveling with your little mouseketeer, click HERE.  Have a super vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
