I am looking 4 a list of restaurants that don't require reservations. I can't find it on WDW web site. We have booked dining reservations for our stay in Oct 2012, but we want to just to wing it for 3 of our 10 days or does every table service need reserv?

    Hi Allie,

Table service restaurants at most Walt Disney World eateries do not require reservations. With that said, it's often impossible to find walk-in availability. This will be especially difficult if a Free Dining offer is released for this October as table service restaurants tend to fill up completely when guests are making the most of their dining packages.

It also depends on where you would want to dine while "winging" it and at what times of the day. For example, you can find walk-up seating available at many resort restaurants during the mid-day. Grand Floridian Cafe is just one example.

However, if you are inside the Magic Kingdom and it's 6 p.m. when your crew is hungry, it's unlikely that you'll find seating at a table-service location. First, there's only a handful of restaurants inside the park and a lot of hungry people during the popular dinner hours.

Personally, I would advise against winging it unless you can be very flexible about where and when you eat. You may find availability for 9 p.m. but not 5 p.m. or you may have to leave a park to go to a less popular restaurant at a resort  hotel (perhaps Olivia's Cafe at Old Key West due to its out-of-the way location, for instance).

Enjoy a wonderful visit to WDW!
