Hello, Linda. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
I am so happy to see that you are already thinking about making dining reservations during your
Walt Disney World vacation. The best places fill up so quickly but having a plan is going to work out in your favor! You are correct, you can make your
advance dining reservations 180 prior to your vacation start date. If you are making those reservations online, you can do so starting at approximately 5:45 am but I've had the best luck right at 6:00 am. If you would like to make your reservation by speaking with a Cast Member over the phone, the reservation hotline opens at 7:00 am. Either way, make sure to set your alarm because you don't want to miss out on all the great options!
Speaking of options, I have a few favorites if you are open to suggestions. If you are looking for a fun character breakfast, I suggest checking out Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort. It's a great buffet with plenty of options to please everyone in your group plus you get to see Mickey and his friends in the beachwear and it's just the cutest thing! For an upscale meal, I have really been enjoying STK Orlando at Disney Springs lately. The steaks are always cooked to perfection and I just can't get enough of their freshly baked bread with blue cheese butter and chive oil on top. Wow! If you are wanting to make reservations in Magic Kingdom Park, I always suggest lunch at The Plaza. Lunch is such a nice reprieve from the Florida heat and crowds and it's a little easier on the pocketbook. The Plaza fries are sinfully delicious and the view of Cinderella Castle can't be beat.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.
