I was looking into the jingle jungle 5K in November. Couple of questions. Is it reasonable to think I could run the 5K and then get my daughter to the kids races on time? What could I do with my daughter during the 5K? She will not make the time for the 5K

    Hi Leanne!

The Jingle Jungle 5K is such a fun race!  I hope you can work it out!

It would be feasible to run the 5K and then make it to the Kids Races.  Generally, there are buses running from the 5K finish area to the Wide World of Sports.

The bigger question is what to do with your little girl.  Generally, when I am running and need childcare, I use www.kidsniteout.com.  They come to my room and keep my boys for me.  Since you probably wouldn't have time to get back to your room, you could always ask them if they can meet you at the race to babysit.  However, there is usually a four-hour minimum, so you would have to pay for four hours, even though you probably won't need them for that long.

Is there anyone going with you that could watch her while you run?  If they could stay with her at the 5K finish area, it would be perfect!

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions!
