Hi, Rebecca!
Hippity Hoppity, Easter is on its way! I was at Port Orleans French Quarter last year for Easter and they had several activities, including an egg hunt for the kids. Signs were posted around the resort with the schedule, so make sure to inquire at your own resort on what plans Mr. Bunny has made for the holiday! You may also want to pop into your resort's gift shop where you can purchase pre-made Easter baskets or create one of your own (baskets, Easter grass, ribbon all available for purchase).
Other activities will be planned around Walt Disney World. Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will be at the Magic Kingdom for a meet and greet as well as making an appearance in the parade along with the Azalea Trail Maids. The
Magic Kingdom might get crowded as it does on any holiday, so plan accordingly.
You may want to stop over at the beautiful
Grand Floridian Resort and Spa to see the amazing Easter egg display created by their pastry chefs. This team surely creates some Easter magic. Just across the Seven Seas Lagoon at Disney's Contemporary Resort is where Easter religious services are normally held. Check with your resort concierge for exact times.
Finally, what is Easter without a wonderful meal? Call (407)WDW-DINE for exact locations that will be serving an Easter brunch. Normally, The Wave (Contemporary) and Cape May (Beach Club) have special buffets, but call to double check and to make
reservations.
Wishing you a Happy Easter and Happy Spring!
Cathy
