Hi there, Donna! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

Walt Disney World Resort is committed to providing each and every Guest with a magical vacation experience. This includes providing helpful services and accommodations to their Guests with disabilities. As someone with chronic illness, I can personally say that this philosophy means so very much to me and my family. I love being able to visit Walt Disney World Resort and forget some of my concerns regarding my own disabilities even if it’s only for a short amount of time!

There are many different services available to Guests with cognitive and behavioral disabilities as well! Some of these include advanced ticket purchases, stroller and wheelchair rentals, companion restrooms, break areas and more. I would strongly recommend reading over the “Planning to the Walt Disney World Resort: A Resource for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)”. This helpful guide is available on the Walt Disney World Resort website and provides a wealth of information on the various services offer to Guests with cognitive disabilities

I hope this information assists you in planning your vacation! Have an absolutely magical time visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your family!
