I am looking for ideas for the last day of our Disney World trip in March. We don't want to go to a theme park, but have a few hours to kill before our flight leaves. Kids ages are 2, 5, 8. Any suggestion?

    Hi Kathy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Thinking about your last day of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is never fun, but like you, I like to maximize my vacation time and have something fun planned for our last day before heading back to the airport.  Given your children's ages, here are a few ideas to keep your family entertained before catching Disney's Magical Express.

On our last day, my family always has one last character dining experience.  We take this time to reflect on our favourite memories of the trip while visiting with our favourite characters one last time.  Another suggestion would be to head over to Downtown Disney.  You can have a nice meal, do some shopping or even visit DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park or Splitsville Luxury Lanes for a few hours.  Another idea would be to challenge your family to a game of miniature golf at either Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course or Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course.

If you wanted something a little more low key, spend some time at the pool or exploring your Disney Resort.  There is always something going on at every resort, be sure to check out the activities schedule included in your welcome package for all everything that is happening at your specific resort.

I am afraid I am running out of space Kathy. Please let me know if you have any other questions, or if you would like more detailed suggestions based on one of my recommendations; I would be happy to help!
