I am looking into my husband and I running in the Wine and Dine Half Marathon in 2018. I will be at Disney for a work trip and plan to take my whole family, including 2 kids, 12 and 2. Is there childcare options during the half marathon? Thanks!!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kristin! I’m elevating my toes and retiring my running shoes this week as I’ve just returned from the Walt Disney World Marathon weekend. The 25th anniversary brought out running crowds like I’d never seen!

When I’m training for a race, much less running the streets of Magic Kingdom, childcare is always on my mind. If you’re looking for quality child care during your next race, there is a Disney authorized, in-room child care service called Kid's Nite Out that offers qualified and certified child care providers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These care providers are a great option for you if you are looking to run with your husband during a “race-cation!” You can snag more details or make a reservation by visiting the Disney childcare link or calling Kid's Nite Out directly at (407) 828-0920 between the hours of 8:00am-9:00pm, 7 days a week. Likewise, if you need a date night out or a good snooze one day, you can set your children up for a magical night inside Lilo’s Playhouse!

If I can answer any more questions for your next magical racecation, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
