Hi! We are looking at hotels for our honeymoon in 2014. We love the Poly, especially the location and transport options, but it is right at the top of our budget! We also like the BC or WL. What are the pros and cons of each hotel? Any preferences? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Carly!

Congratulations on your upcoming honeymoon! I can't think of a better place to celebrate than Disney World!

The Wilderness Lodge (WL) and Beach Club (BC) are both fabulous resorts and you can't go wrong with either one. WL has one of the most amazing lobbies on property to me. I love the pool and Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of our favorite places to eat. It also offers fine dining at Artist Point. Its a quick boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom or the Contemporary Resort so you'd have easy access to the other resorts along the monorail line for dining. You can also take a boat over to Fort Wilderness so if you're into nature, this is a great option for you.

I absolutely love the BC. There are so many awesome things about this resort. You have quick access to 2 theme parks. Both Epcot and Hollywood Studios are easily accessible via Friendship Boat or walking. You'll also be directly across Crescent Lake from the BoardWalk area which features dining, shops & a very festive atmosphere in the evening. You and your husband may enjoy Jellyrolls (dueling piano bar) and Atlantic Dance Hall. If you're sports fans, you can catch the action of your favorite teams at the ESPN Club.

If you like to stay active on vacation, there is a great path around Crescent Lake to walk, jog or rent a Surrey Bike. Stormalong Bay is considered by many to be the best resort pool at Disney and features a raised tanning deck for those who want to relax and soak up the sun. There are quiet pools and hot tubs at the resort as well.

Not only are there great places to dine at BC and its sister resort Yacht Club, but you have easy access to all the amazing restaurants at Epcot. Its a beautiful resort and its very romantic to sit on the beach beside Crescent Lake and just enjoy each other's company.

Wishing you a lifetime of minnie magical memories :-) Allison
